Winter Swim Day
Winter Swim Day is a monthly indoor swim experience designed to help children stay comfortable, confident, and connected to the water during the cooler months.
The Details
Sessions are held on the first Saturday of each month in a private, indoor, heated pool located in Phelan, CA. This is a quiet, controlled environment and not a public pool.
Miss Selenia’s Happy Place regular swim season runs from
May through October, with private and small-group swim instruction offered
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Indoor Pool & Location
- Private, fully enclosed heated indoor pool
- Located in Phelan, California
- Small group structure to support safety, focus, and calm energy
- Exact address and arrival instructions are provided after enrollment
Safety & Supervision
- A guardian must be in the water with the child OR the child must use flotation devices.
- Guardians are responsible for their child’s supervision at all times.
- This structure maintains safety while allowing children to
build comfort, confidence, and independence in the water between their 1:1 skill time with Miss Selenia, without pressure or overwhelm.
How to Prepare
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- Goggles (recommended)
- Water bottle
- Any required flotation device
- Swim diaper required unless fully potty trained
(Accidents result in financial consequences and will end the swim day for all participants.) - Snacks for after swim
- Cozy items for warmth and comfort, such as robes, onesies, hoodies, or blankets
Children may take breaks as needed during their time block.
Schedule
- First Saturday of each month
- Families reserve a 2-hour time block
- The same time block is held for the duration of the membership
Membership Commitment
Winter Swim Day operates on a 4-month membership commitment to support consistency, confidence, and water familiarity.
- One session per month for four consecutive months
- Your time block is reserved exclusively for your family
- Membership is billed monthly
- This program is not drop-in or single-session
Pricing
- $75 for 1 child
- $99 for 2 children
- $25 per additional sibling, if space is available
- Additional non-swimmer siblings are not part of the group lesson
- They are welcome for water play and familiarity only, with guardian supervision required
